maybe they wrote “genized” on the next one down, and then “milk” on the next. Just ran out of room. That is what I do sometimes

You’re cruisin’ for a brusin’

Nope, just the normal intellectual artistry employed by the average British Rail graffiti artist.

The cardboard crating boxes here locally for four gallons of “Laura Lynn” (store brand) milk used to say “Lynn Homo 4 Gal”. I think they’ve since changed it.

haha I have seen them labeled homo before. Not for a while though

I don’t get it? What’s rude about ‘OWOH’?
Hi from Downunder.

*gasp* Yesterday I met an aussie. She was from a city I can’t spell. Adeliade? Yes. She said that the weather said “well it might tornado” so she was “oh storms” and wore all these coats...and then it was 27 degrees. She said Canada’s roads are boring which is true, good thing she didn’t go out west. Our eastern roads are boring but populated, most of our western roads are boring but unpopulated haha.
![]() 05/13/2015 at 10:06 |

Close! Adelaide, apparently named after Queen Adelaide. That’s funny about the coats!
Personally I’d take the West if it’s less populated but thats just me.
What makes the roads boring? How rude of her to complain about your roads.
![]() 05/13/2015 at 10:21 |

Our sporting teams are infinitely better than your sporting teams, except in the points department.

The area she drove through was mostly farms!! But at least in that section there is no moose.
I am from the west and I like it’s boring unpopulated roads haha.
I guess there is not a lot to see along the 401 in ontario, but I know that plus it’s exciting for us because not everywhere here gets to have freeways haha.

Ha ha! I’ll just have to believe you, non motorised sports aren’t my thing. I’m a black sheep in a sea of white!

Oh no, I was hoping you might be someone who likes Rugby League :(
Still, each to their own!

Moose! We have Deers around here, actually have some that live* on my place. One time my wife was driving home late at night not long after moving here and had to stop for a large deer, she came in telling me she saw a MOOSE! We don’t have them here so it would have been a stag.
* until the lead hits them. BOOM!

No sorry, wrong tree! So I take it your from the mother country then? I know you are into LR so it's an educated guess.
I would know more about Rugby cars, and I know very little about those.

If she had indeed seen a moose that would have been incredible. I’ve seen a few while driving, and let me tell you if I go my whole life without seeing another one I will be ok.
Deer are such a pain. Eat goddamn everything.

A few years back I was driving along at night and a large deer decided it wanted to cross the road at the exact same time I was using that particular section. So glad I was diving a Landcruiser fitted with a ‘Bullbar’, I hit the beast at over 70kmh on its side as it ran across in front of me. It bounced off ahead and landed on the road ahead and then it got ran over. Landcruiser barely flinched but the Bullbar was replaced only to need replacing again the following month after making a Corolla a bit shorter. The local car body repair shop loved me!

I am indeed. Whereabouts in Oz are you?
![]() 05/13/2015 at 11:57 |

In Victoria, AFL heartland. :(
![]() 05/13/2015 at 12:02 |

No sad face, Victoria is lovely. Aussie rules and NSW/Melbourne rugby league... I’d be in my element!
![]() 05/13/2015 at 12:14 |
|
Oh no the sad face wasn’t for Vic, it is a nice place to live although it’s bloody cold, 8 degrees C(ccccold) where I am today. It’s 2:15 am so I have to sleep now, goodnight from Straya.
![]() 05/13/2015 at 12:54 |

“making a corolla a bit shorter” LOL. Here by the by we call bull bars “moose bumpers”. I know a guy who hit a moose with his big rig. $11,000 later....
![]() 05/13/2015 at 12:57 |
|
Oh..don’t you worry. I know all about cold. Now of course it’s warmer, but this was sometime last Feb.
![]() 05/13/2015 at 21:27 |

I can still picture the rear hatch glass ‘exploding’, it kind of popped and all the shattered glass went up and then a few seconds later landed all over the bonnet of the Cruiser. Scratched the crap out of the paint. But unlike the Corolla the Cruisers damage mostly ‘buffed out’.
$11,000!!! Holy shit! Moose or not that’s still deer*
*(spelled wrong for pun context)
![]() 05/13/2015 at 21:30 |

WTF!! How do you even....live?!!! That’s ridiculously cold. I still feels cold but I’ll not complain to you anymore about it. You WIN!
![]() 05/14/2015 at 06:55 |
|
Believe me, this is a competition you don’t want to win. -26....is the coldest. It was so cold this winter it defied belief.

That must have been horrendous. Can't imagine experiencing that, way too cold!
